So I just finished my playthrough as a mage, which the way it looks feels like it should be the canon storyline since trailer-Hawke casts magic.  It's truly an epic buildup to an even greater epic, and the way it's told, story-in-a-story style, is just perfect.  The game does feel rushed, but overall, it's an enjoyable experience and a fun game.  The story is just awesome and the characters are great.

The copy-paste use of existing environments got old quick, but in a way, I didn't end up wasting time exploring some new cave system since I already knew the way.  But that's hardly an excuse for that.  It just felt like Oblivion's dungeons all over again.

The combat is really cool because of how fast-paced it is, especially compared with origins.  However, the monotonous way of enemies spawning in front, then at the back, then all around for two to three time at almost each and every encounter just made the pace pointless because you spent the same amount of time fighting, which made me want to set the difficulty to the easiest option just so I didn't have to suffer hours over hours through endless hordes of enemies that could put the Darkspawn legions to shame.

Other news, I'll be done with university by the year and I'll start working soon, but more interestingly, I've played and finished Dead Space 2, just before I played Dragon Age 2.  I verdict of this game is: I want a Dead Space 3.  Dead Space 2 was just awesome.

So I made a fucking digital purchase of SC2 yesterday.  Sixty motherferking dollars - that's even more expensive in my currency.  So I go on and download the client downloader, and I know this is going to be one helluva frustrating ride because downloaders have rarely worked before.  So, yeah, unsurprisingly, it doesn't work the first time.  'Kay, was expecting it - but then it starts downloading.  Imagine my joy when the game I've waiting 10 motherfucking years for begins to download.  I'm overjoyed.  The download is around 25% when I go to bed.

I wake up the next morning to find, ta-ta-da, AN ERROR MESSAGE!  And the fuckery stopped at 28%.  It had 10 motherfucking hours to download and it decided to fuck me over after the first one.  Yes, have a good laugh because this was just too good to be true.  So apparently what happened is that I at some place in time got logged out of B.net and because the downloader is basically virtual horse-shit, it decided to fuck with me and interrupt the download, just for the lols.

So now I've resumed the download, and, oh more surprises, it's resuming at 20% instead of 28%!  That 8% just vanished like someone just flushed the toilet and washed away 8% worth of digital ass-vomit.  And what's even more fucking brilliant, the corpse-fucking tracker isn't responding and I have to resort to peer-to-peer with a fickle, measly 8-12 kbps (with better uploading than downloading rate of course) instead of the huge connection boost I would have gotten if it was working the fucking way it should.  Imagine downloading 7GB with 10 kbps.  It's been over one hour now an it's still at 20%.  This is just absofuckinglutely motherfucking BRILLIANT!
